Huaqing Palace, which includes the Huaqing Pool Scenic Area and Mount Li National Forest Park, is renowned as one of China's four great imperial gardens, alongside the Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan Park, and Chengde Mountain Resort. It is one of China's first National 5A Tourist Attractions, a National Key Scenic Area, a National Priority Protected Site, and National Geological and Forest Park. Emperors from the Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui, and Tang dynasties all built their imperial villas here. The palace is famous worldwide for its ever-flowing hot springs, the tale of a king who lit beacon fires in false alarm, the love story of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei, and being the site of the Xi'an Incident. It has become an iconic destination for Tang Dynasty palace culture tourism.
